Fall is just around the corner, the leaves are starting to change colors, and days are getting shorter and a bit cooler. As North American habitants we are also privileged to the most spectacular foliage color changes in the world, I for one am always looking forward to the transition called autumn, where summer tries to hang on, but you know winter is just around the corner.  Here in the Northwest we are enjoying the last few warm, dry days of the summer and hoping for an extension into September before the rains return. 

These rich palates of browns, reds, yellows that we see in nature during that period always remind me of the endless variations in beer colors and styles: the Bitters, the stouts and the IPA’s, often considered cooler weather beer.  This is definitely the perfect time to gather all your ingredients for your winter brewing and there is no better place to get all brewing supplies than at MakeBeer.net.  So to all serious Cooper’s brewers out there, it is time to gather your harvest and start brewing!
